The shit environment that kids have had to deal with in terms of school shootings should put law makers and school officials in permanent and paralyzing fetal positions of shame.

That obvious point being said, having to be locked down at home and away from any support outside their families was a nightmare for countless kids.

Ignoring our children in these fashions is societal child abuse.
