Student-run newspaper for UCF shutting down after 48 years

By Leslie Postal The student-run newspaper that has served the University of Central Florida community for 48 years will end its run next month. It is closing down, the paper announced today, at the behest of its owner, which has decided to put its “time and attention” elsewhere. The Central Florida Future is owned by Florida Today, part of the Gannett media company. It is one of two student newspapers run by the media giant.
