Student-run business brings recycling to Provo apartments

By Keri Lunt Provo apartments now have access to a student-run recycling service, the brainchild of BYU student Ryan Smith. Recyclops collects and recycles about 2,200 pounds a month, and, because of contracts in the works, the company’s owner expects that number to triple by the end of the year. The idea came a few years ago when Smith moved into off-campus housing after his LDS mission in Russia. He had recycled at home and in the dorms at BYU, so he was surprised when his apartment complex didn’t offer the service. Read the full article here:
