Gary Oldman Apologizes on ‘Kimmel’

On “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday, Gary Oldman said he was sorry for a recent interview he did with Playboy magazine in which he supported Mel Gibson and Alec Baldwin’s controversial remarks about Jewish and gay people. Oldman made no excuses for his hurtful statements, and seemed sincere in asking for forgiveness. “Call us jaded, but this appears to be more of an attempt to stop the bleeding rather than an apology. Could it be that his comments in Playboy have made it more difficult for Oldman to sell smartphones on television? Again, this is a great case study for PR students.” Read the full article here:
